PRE-VETTING & TANKER SERVICES

Pre-vetting Inspection for Oil, Chemical, and Gas ships has become very essential, giving a competitive advantage to third-party vessels with Oil Major approvals. In today’s environment of high safety standards, not having sufficient approvals from Oil, Chemical, and Gas companies could result in a lack of business. Thus, for vessels to carry the cargoes of oil majors or be allowed to operate on their terminal, their safety conditions are required to be measured up to certain standards as agreed by various stakeholders in the industry.

Prime Ship Management and Consulting provide the following survey and inspections services:

  • Pre-vetting Inspections for Oil and Chemical Tankers
  • Pre-RIGHTSHIP Inspections for Bulk Carriers
  • Shipboard training for vessel’s crew covering the owner’s HSSEQ systems.
  • Internal Audits for all types of vessels
  • Initial / first vetting inspections assistance for new builds and change of management vessels
  • Super-cargo services
  • Tank cleaning expeditors
  • Tanker Surveys – Ullage, Draft Surveys, Cargo sampling, and Cargo supervision

Vetting Inspections are an evaluation of your operating procedures, implementation, and condition of the vessel and her equipment. It is crucial to keep your vessels prepared all the time for vetting to maximize commercial opportunities.

Our inspectors, conduct thorough inspections on the lines of SIRE, CDI, RIGHTS & OVID, to ascertain your current compliances of the vessel for these programmes.

We conduct inspections and surveys on behalf of the following to give them a better assessment of the significant financial risks when investing:

Pre-vetting / RIGHTSHIP inspection would consist of a 1-2-day visit to the vessel when she is at the port. For a thorough inspection and in-depth analysis, we prefer that our inspector sails onboard the vessel for 3-4 clear days.

Daily onboard training sessions are carried out during pre-vetting / pre-RIGHTSHIP inspections.

The training involves the company’s HSSEQ systems, bridge team management, safety drills, or any other specific training required to be imparted by the client.

We provide tank cleaning expeditors to supervise and assist in various tank cleaning operations for difficult cargoes and change of grade from black to white products to ensure the operation is conducted efficiently, in the shortest time possible, and without causing contamination to the next grade to be loaded.
