Development of Company/Shipboard Manuals, Plans and Procedures for Class/Flag State Approval

PSMC prepares shipboard-specific manuals (including statutory manuals) for both new ships and existing ships. These manuals are prepared to comply with relevant requirements from the classification society and flag state.

PSMC will obtain Classification Society and Flag State approvals on behalf of the Client.

• Shipboard oil pollution emergency plan (SOPEP)

• Vessel General Permit (VGP) for vessels calling US ports

• Ship Security Plans (SSP)

• Ballast Water Management Plan

  • Meets the recommendations of IMO Assembly Resolution A.868 (20) – “Guidelines for the Control and Management of Ship’s Ballast Water to minimize the transfer of harmful aquatic organisms and pathogens” adopted on 20th November 1997

  • Meets the requirement of “International Convention for the Control and Management of Ship’s Ballast Water and Sediments” adopted on 16th February 2004

  • Our manuals have been approved by Classification Societies.

• STS operation manual (for Ship-to-Ship transfer operations, mandatory from Jan 2011)

• Shipboard Energy Efficiency Management Plan (FEDI) manual.
